It works perfectly for hiking and walking in the city. The shoe is light and comfortable.

I love my MBTs! I have flat feet and lots of pain from standing and walking. The way the MBTs rock, there isn't excessive pressure on a single part of my foot and I can do more with less pain. They say not to use orthotics with them, but the way my feet roll in, I have to and it helps a lot. Not all MBTs work for me with my flat feet...my feet roll in with some of them.

I bought two different sizes of these shoes to cover my bases, because the price was excellent. Ended up keeping my true size, since my foot really did swim in the larger size.
