To me it felt fun! I have many lower body orthopedic issues (foot, knee, hip, SI) so at times walking is quite painful and I never try to push myself or I will pay the price.

Believe it or not while wearing these---it does engage certain muscles well and feels the best I ve ever felt for athletic shoe.

Kinda ugly but awesome for your feet - I bought these in anticipation of two trips within a few weeks of each other that I knew would involve a lot of walking.
